What you can contribute

• Manage the PLASTA business application technically and evolve it throughout its life cycle
• Consolidate and prioritize requirements from execution, specialized domains, projects, and other stakeholders, then translate them into concrete solutions
• Develop conceptual principles, objectives, and decision-making bases for the future development of PLASTA
• Ensure consistency between the business application, business processes, data, legal requirements, and connected peripheral systems
• Participate in the development of the PLASTA technical roadmap and contribute to the planning of subsequent versions, deployments, and developments
• Represent the technical point of view of PLASTA within projects, expert committees, and cross-functional initiatives, and act as the single point of contact (SPOC)

What makes you unique

• Higher education (ES, HES or equivalent) as well as continuing education in requirements engineering, business analysis, management information systems, process management, or a similar field
• Several years of experience in a similar function related to business applications and processes, product management, or digital transformation
• Experience in the technical management or improvement of complex business applications
• Ability to translate strategic objectives into technically feasible, user-centered, and legally compliant requirements
• Analytical and conceptual thinking, high sense of responsibility, negotiation skills, and a taste for interdisciplinary collaboration
• Good active knowledge of two official languages orally and in writing; knowledge of English is an asset

In a few words

The SECO Labor Directorate is the Confederation's competence center for central issues related to labor market policy and unemployment insurance. The Labor Market and Unemployment Insurance activity area is responsible for supporting and defining the technical framework of execution and accompanies its digital development. The ORP/LMMT/ACt Operational Support group is an integral part of the Labor Market and Reintegration sector and operates at the interface between execution, specialized services, IT, and steering.
In this position, you will play a key technical role in the management and improvement of the PLASTA business application. You will contribute to ensuring that PLASTA continues to evolve consistently, in compliance with legislation, user-centered, and future-oriented, in interaction with business processes, data, peripheral systems, and legal requirements. You will thus contribute essentially to the digital transformation of the public employment service and unemployment insurance.
