Thus, the department's mission is to screen and effectively treat increasingly frequent and polymorphic pathologies while respecting patients and their relatives. A quality education is also provided by the department to students but also to doctors in training for the specialist title by sensitizing them to psychological, biological, and social dimensions. The department also supports quality training in psychotherapy. The adult psychiatry service deals with the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of mental disorders in adults as part of a public health mission. In the outpatient and hospital units of the service, multi-professional teams offer care integrating biological, psychotherapeutic, and social treatments within a network with external partners. Job Description ## As part of your duties, you will welcome young adult patients, aged 18 to 25, presenting with stabilized mental disorders. You will provide relational and human support during the night, in close collaboration with the nursing staff present in the unit. Intended for students in training in the fields of medical care, paramedical care, HETS, or psychology, this position constitutes a privileged opportunity to discover the field of psychiatry and mental health while developing practical experience with a population of young adults. You will participate in the support of patients during night hours (22:00 to 7:00) by contributing to the maintenance of a secure and benevolent environment. Although the nights are generally calm, you will be required to intervene in support of the nursing staff when the situation requires a reassuring presence, listening, or adapted relational support. Through your presence, your availability, and your sense of observation, you contribute to the well-being of patients as well as to the quality of their care. You have a marked interest in relational care and wish to develop your knowledge in the field of mental health and psychiatry. This position requires great flexibility in terms of scheduling as well as an ability to adapt to the needs of the service. You appreciate teamwork and demonstrate empathy, maturity, and professionalism in your interactions with patients and health professionals. Qualifications ## You are a student currently in training in a field of care, health, paramedical, or education and are able to provide a certificate of enrollment issued by a Swiss university or school (this criterion is mandatory). Available to work at night (22:00 to 7:00), you demonstrate maturity, reliability, and a great sense of responsibility. Thanks to your relational qualities and your active listening, you know how to establish a relationship of trust with young adults while maintaining the correct professional distance. You appreciate teamwork and demonstrate a real capacity to collaborate with different interlocutors in a demanding environment. Flexible and available, you know how to adapt to the needs of the service and show mutual aid and solidarity towards your colleagues. Your sense of observation, your benevolence, as well as your ability to manage sometimes complex situations constitute real assets for succeeding in this function.
