GRUNER&FRIENDS is an international architecture firm in Basel and realizes projects ranging from residential and office buildings to hotel and industrial buildings. Our references include a boutique hotel in Zürich, the KPMG headquarters, the ZUR3 data center, and the Dreirosenbrücke project presented at the Venice Biennale.   Since April 2026, we have been at home in our new office at Picassoplatz 4 - an inspiring space that we renovated ourselves. We are a young, motivated team with flat hierarchies that lives personal exchange: weekly team meetings, shared lunches, industry events, and occasional after-work meetings are a matter of course.   To strengthen our team in Basel, we are looking for an immediate or by arrangement:   Social Media Specialist & Content Creator 60-80% (m/w/d)   Your Role Are you passionate about social media and know exactly which content gains attention and truly reaches people?   At GRUNER&FRIENDS, our social media channels, our newsletter, and our website are in your hands. You design content that fits the respective platform, maintain control over the planning and coordination of our content, remain in continuous exchange with our community, and sharpen our online presence step by step based on data and learnings.   You always have trends in the social media area in view, develop your own content ideas from them, and use AI tools where they advance creative processes and accelerate implementation.    Your sense for details and for visual storytelling ensures that our content reaches the right target groups and conveys GRUNER&FRIENDS authentically to the outside world.   We are looking for a personality with creativity, organizational talent, and initiative - someone who takes responsibility, works independently, and keeps an overview.   Your Tasks • Management and content-related further development of our social media channels, newsletter, and our website • Creating content plans • Creating content (image & video) - also on-site at construction sites, at projects, and company events • Close cooperation with our project teams to prepare content from ongoing and completed projects • Building and maintaining a community • Creation, dispatch, management, and further development of the newsletter • Success measurement and reporting of our social media activities (reach, engagement, growth) • Processing and creation of templates according to the Brand Guidelines (InDesign, PowerPoint, Word, etc.) • If required: Support in further marketing topics (e.g., contact with magazines)   Your Profile • Provable experience in the production of social media and content formats (image & video) • Familiar with common tools for content creation (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, CapCut) • Sense for image, aesthetics, and text as well as a good eye for what fits GRUNER&FRIENDS • Cheerful, communicative, and open personality with initiative • Good German and English skills • Interest in new tools, trends, and formats in social media and marketing • High quality awareness as well as care and accuracy • Strong organizational skills and the ability to independently coordinate multiple priorities • Experience in the architecture or construction industry is a plus   What Awaits You You can actively contribute your creativity and your sense for content and bring our online presence to the next level.
