Designer (m/f/d)

As a Designer (m/f/d), you will develop intelligent solutions for our electrical connectors and accompany projects from the idea to market launch. • Development of new as well as further development of existing electrical connectors
• Implementation of customer requirements as well as specification and requirement documents into innovative and economical product solutions
• Independent planning and processing of development projects as well as coordination of technical work packages
• Identification of technical challenges and development of sustainable solution approaches in close cooperation with internal interfaces
• Participation in risk analyses, FMEAs, technical investigations, as well as the verification and validation of product developments
• Technical consulting for customers, product management, and internal specialist departments, as well as creation and maintenance of technical documentation and assembly instructions
• Completed technical training with further training or a degree in the field of mechanical engineering, design, or a comparable specialty
• Several years of experience in design and product development, ideally in an industrial environment
• Confident handling of 3D CAD systems, preferably Autodesk Inventor
• Strong technical understanding as well as the ability to independently analyze technical challenges and develop practical solutions
• Structured, independent, and solution-oriented way of working
• Strong communication skills as well as enjoyment of working in interdisciplinary and international teams
• Very good German and good English skills in speaking and writing
• Experience with simulation and calculation tools (e.g., ANSYS) is an advantage
