Psychology Intern Educational Counseling 60% # The Office for Youth and Career Counseling of the Department of Education provides, orders, manages, and coordinates services for child and youth welfare and career counseling. As one of a total of 15 child and youth welfare centers in the Canton of Zürich, kjz Winterthur ensures uniform service delivery, solidly supported regionally and municipally, in the areas of youth and family counseling, educational counseling, mother and father counseling, as well as child protection. kjz Winterthur offers a six-month internship starting from 1 February 2027 to psychology students (Bachelor or Master) at a Swiss university of applied sciences or university. As part of the internship, you will gain insight into the following activities: ### • Participation in family discussions by various psychologists in process-oriented, systemically oriented educational counseling on behalf of parents • Co-counseling as well as independent counseling and support of parents, families, and caregivers with children and adolescents up to 18 years old within a voluntary framework • Case-related administrative tasks (file notes and case-related correspondence) • Insight into the work of a child protection assessment on behalf of the KESB through case discussions with the assessors You will have the opportunity to get to know the diverse range of educational counseling services at kjz Winterthur and will be systematically introduced to our tasks.
