To strengthen our team, we are looking for an initiative person as Software Engineer Product Development Sensors 100% Your area of responsibility * Conception and creation of SW architecture as well as SW design, documentation taking into account verifiability and validity as well as normative and customer-specific requirements and their traceability * Elaboration of requirements for the embedded software for products from the field of safe automation * Implementation of multi-channel firmware for safety sensors according to specification, SW architecture and design * Construction and commissioning of development models and prototypes * Maintenance and expansion of existing embedded software regarding functionality, safety and availability * Specification and execution of module, functional and integration tests within the software * Driving forward the automation and standardization of the firmware build processes and the testing (CI/CT) * Collaboration in standardization and modularization Our requirements * Completed FH or Bachelor degree as a software engineer or comparable training * 2-3 years of professional experience with embedded software * Very good knowledge of the programming language C, C++ * Knowledge of the modeling language UML as well as experience with common architecture and design patterns are an advantage * Experience with microcontrollers (ARM Cortex-M, AVR, etc.) * Experience with unit tests, integration tests and possibly test automation * Experience with interface protocols, sensor technology, actuator technology is an advantage * Secure Coding & Cybersecurity (IEC 62443, MISRA-C, CERT C) is an advantage * Experience in IEC 61508, safety concepts is an advantage * Very good German language skills in speaking and writing We offer you * Innovative and dynamic company in which agility and lean principles are lived * Pleasant working atmosphere with a "Du" culture and familiar environment * High personal influence through lived idea management * Flexible working hours and possibility for home office * Free parking spaces, Reka money and attractive social benefits * Various discounts for health, family, recreation Your contact person Can you identify with this exciting challenge?
