Horizonte is a non-profit organization and is committed to the social and professional integration of people with mental impairments through various services in the living and working sectors.

The Horizonte Werkraum provides people with mental impairments with a daily structure. Under professional guidance, appealing products are manufactured using paper, textile, and recycled materials without performance pressure.

To strengthen our team, we are looking for, effective immediately or by arrangement, a

Work Integration Specialist / Group Leader Workshop 80-100 % (w/m/d) or a specialist with suitable training and professional experience ###

Your Profile

• Person-centered and individual support of people with mental impairments in daily work and daily structure life
• Creative and technical support during artisanal projects
• Active involvement in shaping daily work as well as planning and accompanying events, excursions, exhibitions, and projects
• Active participation in the further development of the Werkraum and its offerings
• Willingness to take responsibility for the group while always keeping the overall situation in view

Your Profile

• Completed degree in the social field
• Specialist knowledge in supporting people with mental impairments and different support needs
• Experience or enjoyment of manual work and design, as well as the willingness to learn new techniques
• Good user knowledge in Microsoft Office as well as confident handling of administrative tasks, documentation, and organizational activities
• Initiative, independent and structured working, as well as knowledge in planning and organization
• You are a team player, patient, humorous, resilient, and approach people with an appreciative and respectful attitude. You also possess a good sense of proximity and distance and can appropriately maintain professional boundaries.
