Apprenticeship Specialist Information & Documentation EFZ with apprenticeship start in 2027 The GGG Stadtbibliothek Basel is one of the most innovative libraries in Switzerland and an organization of the Verein GGG Basel. With its large book and media offering, it is the most important provider for the topics of reading, educating, and entertaining in the Canton of Basel-Stadt. Approximately 200 employees provide attractive premises to the population in nine public libraries and enable broadly based reading promotion for children and adolescents through workshops and events. We offer you a sound education in our modern public library starting in August 2027 and enable you to take on the following versatile tasks: Advising and supporting our customers Regular deployment in the lending service with customer contact Cataloguing various media Assistance with collection presentation and maintenance Participation in working groups and projects What you bring with you: You have strong social and communicative skills as well as a high level of service awareness You enjoy contact and dealing with people and enjoy working in a team You bring broad general knowledge and an interest in current events You have a secondary school degree Leistungszug E or P or will complete this in 2027.
