We are looking for a chief physician with FMH title or assistant chief physician in the process of obtaining their specialist title to join our outpatient child psychiatry team within the CAP (Centre ambulatoire de Pédopsychiatrie) of the Réseau de l'Arc, in Switzerland. In this full-time role, you will work in collaboration with a medico-therapeutic team (child psychiatrists, psychologists, nurse(s)) to provide high-quality child psychiatry care to our patients. The Child Psychiatry Service of the Pôle de Santé Mentale of the Réseau de l'ARC is an ISFM training establishment (currently undergoing recognition for category B) for hospital and outpatient activity. Job Description ## Your work consists of evaluating and caring for children, adolescents 0-18 years old and their families in an outpatient setting within the CAP. The CAP also works in close collaboration with the UHPA (Unité d'hospitalisation Psychiatrique pour Adolescents) and with the emergency department of the Moutier hospital, able to respond to urgent outpatient consultation requests. For this, the missions are as follows: • Perform child psychiatry evaluations and care of patients independently • Supervision and guidance of the assistant physician and the assistant psychologist, both in training • Demonstrate capacity for support, management of complex cases in the field and decision-making and responsibilities incumbent upon a 2nd-line senior physician • Deputize for the Site Manager, Referring Chief Physician of the CAP regarding tasks incumbent to the organization of the site and the proper progress of care (child psychiatry evaluations, family and network interviews) • Elaborate and implement treatment plans in collaboration with the medico-therapeutic team. • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans if necessary • Prescribe and manage psychiatric medications • Participate in the outpatient continuity of care system. • Intervene in case of crisis and provide emergency child psychiatry care, if necessary. • Participate in medico-therapeutic team meetings to discuss patient care. • Maintain accurate and detailed electronic medical records. • Participate in the elaboration and implementation of child psychiatry protocols and procedures for the outpatient and hospital sectors • Collaborate with other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care for patients. Qualifications ## • Possession of a medical degree or an equivalent title recognized by the Commission fédérale des professions médicales (MEBEKO) is mandatory. • An experience of at least 3 years of assistantship, including at least 2 years in child and adolescent psychiatry and psychotherapy, in addition to complementary year(s) in adult psychiatry or pediatrics is required • A proven ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team is essential. • A strong commitment to medical training and the dissemination of knowledge is required. • Capacity for initiative, curiosity and interest in the implementation of projects. • Mastery of the French language at a minimum level of B2 is necessary.
