As Head of IT Platform Services, you will shape the global IT infrastructure and influence the technological direction of an internationally active company. You will assume overall responsibility for the IT and OT platform services and lead a department with a total of 28 employees and three direct reports. Together with your management team, you will shape the strategic and operational direction of the Digital Workplace, Network & Security, and Infrastructure areas. You will further develop the organization, strengthen cybersecurity, and set impulses for automation and AI. In doing so, you combine technical understanding with strategic foresight and shape a high-performance IT that meets the requirements of the company and its international locations.

Your main tasks ###

• Overall responsibility for the secure, stable, and high-performance operation as well as the continuous further development of the global IT and OT platform services
• Leadership of the Digital Workplace, Network & Security, and Infrastructure areas with a total of 28 employees and three direct reports, as well as functional leadership of further teams at the international locations in Germany, China, and the USA
• Strategic direction of the global IT as well as design of the infrastructure and cloud architecture in coordination with the management team and the business requirements
• Management of strategic initiatives in the areas of cybersecurity, automation, and AI
• Management and strategic further development of technology partners and service providers, taking into account quality, security, risks, and economic efficiency
• Design of a modern, agile, and service-oriented IT organization as well as promotion and development of executives and talents

Your profile ###

• At least 5 years of leadership experience in an international IT organization with strategic and operational responsibility
• University degree in computer science, engineering, or a comparable field; additional training or further education in the field of leadership is an advantage
• Broad understanding of modern IT and OT infrastructures, cloud architectures, and cybersecurity, as well as the ability to categorize technological contexts and make sound strategic decisions
• Distinct competence in the leadership and development of international teams as well as in the design of organizational changes, ideally in a complex production environment
• Professional background in a technology- or production-oriented environment, preferably in the MedTech, pharma, or automotive industry or a comparably regulated industry
• German and English skills at least at C1 level as well as strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management competencies
