Med Ipersonal is a temporary staffing agency specializing in the placement of professionals in the medical industry and provides qualified employees for hospitals and doctor's practices.

For a modern clinic or a renowned hospital in Oetwil am See, we are looking for a committed and experienced Ward Manager (80-100%) who, with professional expertise, leadership experience and empathy, leads and develops the nursing team.

Your tasks:

• Leadership, organization and further development of the nursing team on the ward
• Ensuring professional and high-quality patient care according to current nursing and medical standards
• Planning and controlling personnel deployment considering capacities, qualifications and operational requirements
• Promoting interdisciplinary cooperation with doctors, therapists and other specialist departments
• Contact person for patients and relatives to ensure the best possible care
• Implementation and ensuring of quality and hygiene standards as well as continuous optimization of work processes
• Support and accompaniment of employees in their professional and personal development through training, coaching and feedback discussions
• Implementation and monitoring of administrative processes such as documentation, reporting and evaluation of nursing services
• Participation in projects for the further development of nursing quality and the implementation of new concepts

Your profile:

• Completed training as a Dipl. Pflegefachfrau/-mann HF/FH or an equivalent recognized qualification
• Further training in leadership, management or ward management is an advantage
• Several years of professional experience in acute care or long-term care, ideally in a leadership position
• Leadership competence and strong communication skills for the motivating management of an interdisciplinary team
• High social competence, empathy and solution-oriented thinking for optimal patient care
• Organizational skills, decision-making ability and a structured way of working
• Confident handling of digital documentation systems and administrative processes
• Very good German skills in speaking and writing, other language skills are an advantage
