We are Huba Control. For around 80 years, we have been developing and producing in Switzerland – today with around 400 employees for customers worldwide. Internationally active and firmly rooted in the Würenlos, Wettingen and Baden region.

Our pressure and flow sensors undertake important tasks: for example in dialysis machines, in the efficient use of water or the reduction of emissions. Behind this stand precise technology, a high degree of vertical integration and people who understand their craft.

Our production is growing. As a result, the requirements for our procurement are also growing. For this, we are looking for a personality who understands technical contexts, strengthens their team and implements sustainable solutions together with our suppliers.

Head of Global Procurement (100 %)

Your task: lead and further develop procurement

You are responsible for strategic and operational procurement and lead the procurement team in Würenlos. You work closely with our international colleagues. You secure the material supply and further develop a procurement organization that reliably supports our growth.

In doing so, you naturally move between supplier negotiations, the production hall and strategic planning.

• Lead your team: You create orientation, set clear priorities and further develop your employees professionally and personally.
• Supply the production: You recognize bottlenecks early and act effectively with your team and the involved specialist departments.
• Shape procurement: You develop commodity group and supplier strategies for direct and indirect materials and open up international procurement opportunities.
• Control suppliers: You negotiate prices and framework agreements, further develop partnerships and tackle quality, performance and contract problems consistently.
• Help shape technical decisions: You involve procurement early in development, industrialization and make-or-buy projects.
• Create transparency: You improve ERP-supported processes, data quality and key figures. You keep costs, quality, stocks and supply risks in view together.

What you bring

You know the procurement of a manufacturing industrial company from your own experience. You understand what missing parts mean for production and can work at eye level with production, engineering and quality.

• Several years of experience in strategic and operational procurement as well as demonstrable leadership experience in an industrial environment.
• A solid technical background: for example basic training as a polymechanic, designer or in another technical profession. Likewise welcome is a commercial entry with several years of technical procurement practice and a sound understanding of manufacturing processes.
• Appropriate further training in procurement, supply chain management or in business administration – or comparable competence acquired in practice.
• Experience with international suppliers, ideally in Europe and Asia, as well as confidence in demanding negotiations and in dealing with framework agreements.
• Proficient use of ERP systems and procurement data as well as experience in improving procurement processes.
• Very good German skills and good to very good English.

As a leader, you listen, decide and implement. You involve the knowledge of your team, address problems openly and remain objective and committed even under pressure. You can develop a strategy and pitch in when daily business requires it.
