What you do with us The Public Safety department is at the pulse of the population and ensures security, peaceful coexistence, and that everything proceeds correctly in everyday urban life. The police inspectorate subordinate to you is responsible for the execution of municipal as well as some police tasks transferred from the canton (commercial police). With us, you check applications, grant permits, carry out inspections, and intervene if necessary. You independently process demanding cases and write statements, reports, and complaints. You work in a team of professionals and move in various industries such as gastronomy, taxi services, sex industry, etc. * Do you appear confident and determined, maintain calm even in demanding situations, and always act in a solution-oriented manner? * Do you enjoy approaching the most diverse people and can conduct conversations and clarify facts even in challenging situations? * Are you versatile, flexible, and ready to occasionally perform assignments outside of usual office hours? * Are you able to handle an occasionally high workload depending on the needs of the department, and do you enjoy taking on regular on-site assignments?
