YOUR TASKS

• Technical and organizational management of the genetics laboratory
• Responsibility for genetic diagnostics as well as evaluation, interpretation and reporting of genetic analyses
• Further development and optimization of the quality management system (QMS) as well as ensuring high quality standards
• Methodical further development and expansion of the diagnostic analysis portfolio
• Cooperation with specialist doctors, authorities as well as internal and external contact persons
• Technical and personnel leadership as well as promotion and development of the laboratory team

YOUR PROFILE

• Completed studies with a doctorate in Biology or Medicine
• Completed FAMH training (Medical Genetics) with at least 5 years of professional experience or comparable foreign degree (e.g., specialist in human genetics (GfH)) with willingness to obtain FAMH recognition.
• Sound knowledge in Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS), Genomics and Bioinformatics
• Broad specialist knowledge with sound oncogenetics knowledge
• Very good German and English skills; French skills are an advantage
• Analytical, structured and entrepreneurial way of thinking as well as high initiative
