The CVE Les Collonges, a private-subsidized early childhood center in the heart of Lausanne, welcomes 87 children from 4 months to 5 years old every day. Our human-sized institution is recognized for its warm welcome, its roots in the neighborhood, and its commitment to fulfilling and inclusive care. Our Koshi project, developed with the CPHV of the Fondation Asile des Aveugles, brings together children with visual impairments and children from the neighborhood. A demanding and unique project, which constitutes one of the strengths of our institution. To continue this dynamic and support our team, we are looking for A Director at 80 % Your role At the head of the CVE, you set the course, unite a team of approximately 40 employees, and ensure the quality of the care offered to children and their families. You are notably responsible for: leading and supporting the team; guaranteeing safety, well-being, and the quality of care; carrying and evolving the pedagogical project with the professionals; ensuring administrative and budgetary management; developing relations with families, the neighborhood, and the professional network; continuing partnerships with the CPHV and the DIP and bringing our inclusive project to life. Your profile We are looking for a person who knows how to provide direction, create trust, and move things forward. You possess: a HES training recognized by the SCAJE, completed by a certifying postgraduate training; at least 5 years of experience in a child care facility; training in team management and project management (CAS or equivalent), with eventually a DAS; confirmed experience in management; excellent interpersonal skills and a good ability to manage complex situations; a solid sense of organization, priorities, and interdisciplinary collaboration; a real interest in early childhood, inclusion, and network work.
