Your responsibility:

• As Deputy Headmistress / Deputy Headmaster, you manage the school operationally as well as in pedagogical, personnel, and organizational terms in cooperation with the Headmistress and three Deputy Headmistresses / Deputy Headmasters.
• You share responsibility for the school-wide development and take on cross-departmental leadership tasks.
• You bear responsibility for successful relationships between learners, teachers, and training companies.
• The main area of responsibility lies in the field of vocational knowledge instruction.
• Teaching activity at the BfG

Your background:

• You take on leadership responsibility and are simultaneously a team player. You are flexible and resilient. You possess high presentation competence and maintain appreciative communication.
• You work in a solution-oriented manner and approach young people in vocational training with empathy.
• You have a pedagogical education and preferably training in the nursing field.
• You bring an understanding of heterogeneous learning biographies.
• You are familiar with contemporary pedagogical developments in the field of vocational training in general and nursing in particular and advocate for innovative forms of learning in instruction.
• You bring experience in leading projects and ideally already have leadership experience. You have completed school management training or are willing to complete it.

Berufsfachschule Gesundheit Baselland (BfG)

The Berufsfachschule Gesundheit Baselland comprises the training for Fachfrau, Fachmann Gesundheit (FaGe), Assistentin/Assistent Gesundheit und Soziales (AGS) and the vocational baccalaureate (BM 1 and 2) in health and social directions and is attended by around 1'700 learners. A faculty of approx. 130 teachers is motivatedly engaged for innovative instruction and a high quality standard. The school management, consisting of four Deputy Headmistresses/Deputy Headmasters, one Head of School Administration and one Headmistress, leads the school.
