To strengthen our team in St. Margrethen (SG) or Pratteln (BL), we are looking for a motivated personality as Head of Air, Sea & European Road Freight 100% Your tasks You strategically lead and further develop the sea and air freight as well as European road transport departments of the Group, holding personnel responsibility for 6 team leaders and around 30 employees. You are responsible for the purchasing and the entire quotation process in the area of sea, air freight and European road transport and maintain our worldwide network of suppliers, subcontractors and agents. You plan and conduct internal seminars, develop processes and ensure the professional use of the application software (Scope/Riege). You bear responsibility for the departmental budget and prepare regular financial reporting. Our requirements You have a commercial basic training as Speditionskaufmann/-frau, completed further training at the level of Higher Professional Examination as well as proven professional experience and demonstrated leadership experience in a comparable position. You master the German and English languages perfectly in spoken and written form, any further foreign language is an advantage. You fulfill the applicable regulations of the BAZL and possess an impeccable reputation. You convince as a team player with friendly, customer-oriented manners and a professional appearance.
