Our client from the Rapperswil region is active in the real estate sector and is looking for us for a Caretaker / Specialist in Facility Management 100% (m/f/d) # Employment: 100% Location: Rapperswil SG Industry: Trade/Crafts general Publication date: 17.07.2026 Your tasks • Carrying out minor conversions, repairs and renovations • Manual work such as minor carpentry, plastering, painting or masonry work • Rectifying defects in apartments, common areas and technical rooms • Accompanying and monitoring external craftsmen during larger works • Ongoing inspection and maintenance of the properties • Cleaning work in stairwells, basements, entrance areas and other common areas • Garden work such as lawn care, cutting work, care of shrubs and flower beds • Surroundings maintenance as well as winter service • Operation and simple maintenance of building technical systems • Recognizing, reporting and co-coordinating malfunctions • Participating in renovations as well as in apartment inspections and handovers • On-site contact person for tenants, owners and craftsmen • Close cooperation with the property management • Coordination with other caretakers, internal departments and external specialist companies • Clean feedback on completed work and identified defects   Your profile • Completed manual vocational training (EFZ), for example as a carpenter, joiner, plasterer, mason or in a related profession • Several years of professional experience, ideally in maintenance, facility management or in a construction/craft environment • Enjoyment of a versatile activity on changing properties • High level of independence as well as a reliable, careful and structured way of working • Good teamwork skills and strong communication skills in daily exchange with tenants, • owners, colleagues and external specialists • Good coordination skills in cooperation with other caretakers and various trades • Enjoyment in pitching in and implementing practical solutions • Friendly and helpful appearance • Driving license category B mandatory • Good German language skills in speaking and writing • Simple IT user knowledge is an advantage   What you can expect • Interesting and varied activities with room for design • Comprehensive induction into the area of responsibility • Collegial, dynamic team with an open communication culture • Fair salary with further benefits Have I piqued your interest?
