Laundry employee

Receive and sort laundry according to textile type, color, and degree of soiling. Identify and label items if necessary. Load and operate washing machines and dryers. Select appropriate washing programs and products. Iron, fold, or hang laundry on hangers. Check the quality of clean laundry and remove stained or damaged items. Perform small repairs (sewing on a button, repairing a seam) as needed. Pack and prepare laundry for delivery or storage. Maintain premises and equipment clean and in good condition. Respect hygiene and safety rules and procedures for handling detergent products. Manage stocks of washing products and report replenishment needs.
