Painter

The employer is looking for a: painter (reported profession) Tasks: • preparation of surfaces: protections, cleaning, plastering, sanding, scraping, application of primer/coats. • internal and external painting with different techniques: brush, roller, spray/airless (if required). • application of paints, enamels, varnishes, impregnants and specific coatings (e.g. facades, wood, metal). • restoration work: anti-mold treatment, repair of cracks, small plaster repairs (based on skills). • quality control of finished work and defect correction. • safe use of ladders, scaffolding and bridges (in accordance with SUVA procedures). • ordinary care and maintenance of equipment and materials; correct management of waste and construction residues. Requirements: • experience in the role of painter/painter (preferably 2+ years) • knowledge of painting cycles and materials (interiors/exteriors, different supports, climatic conditions). • operational autonomy on the construction site and ability to work in a team. • precision, reliability, attention to detail and quality orientation. • availability for travel to construction sites (based on the region) • basic knowledge of the Italian language Preferred requirements: • AFC/CFP or equivalent training (Swiss title or equivalent recognition). • experience with facades and external work. • use of tools for airless/spray painting. • cat.B driver's license • self-driving (often preferred to reach construction sites) Employment details: • workplace Minusio • 100% occupation • immediate employment, indefinite period • salary based on the CCL of the sector
