School Social Worker for the upper Neckertal

The Schule Neckertal comprises seven school units - five primary and two secondary schools - in six villages, distributed throughout the Neckertal. Due to the professional reorientation of the previous job holder, we are looking for a school social worker as of 1 November 2026 or by arrangement. In this role, you are responsible for the three school units of the upper Neckertal: Hemberg-Bächli, St. Peterzell and Schönengrund, from kindergarten up to and including secondary school with a total of around 400 students. Together with the school social worker of the Unteres Neckertal, you form a team and work in close cooperation. Your tasks include: ### • Counseling, accompaniment and support of school children, teachers, school management and parents • Intervention in groups and classes in challenging situations • Cooperation with institutions and counseling centers • Help in crisis situations • Development and implementation of prevention projects We expect: ### • Completed training in social work, social pedagogy at a university of applied sciences or an equivalent training • CAS Schulsozialarbeit (or the readiness to complete this) • Professional experience in school social work and in the field of youth and family work • Joy in dealing with children, parents and teachers • Flexibility, resilience and ability to work in a team • Driver's license and own vehicle required We offer you an independent, challenging task in school social work in a rural environment.
