About us

Our unique chalet, built from reclaimed wood and furnished with great attention to detail, has been inspiring numerous guests for years as «Chalet zum Fondue». With 160 seats in the interior, it offers the ideal setting for unforgettable moments. The chalet is now becoming a permanent year-round operation in Rapperswil-Jona. In addition to the popular fondue in the winter months, our guests can expect a seasonal à la carte cuisine throughout the year, combining tradition and modernity, at lunch as well as at dinner.

Furthermore, the chalet is available for private and business events, from general meetings and corporate celebrations to weddings.

Your tasks

• Overall responsibility for smooth operational processes as well as leadership of the entire team (service, kitchen, back office, permanent staff and temporary helpers)
• Reservation management and guest correspondence
• Duty roster creation and hour control
• Quality assurance and compliance with hygiene and safety standards
• Active cooperation and leadership in service with a focus on personal guest care, including à la carte lunch and dinner service
• Coordination between service and kitchen for an optimal guest experience

Your profile

• You have sound knowledge from gastronomy and preferably bring a degree as a restaurateur, or are a student or graduate of a Swiss hotel management school
• You have experience in personnel management and excellent communication skills
• You are a team player and have a positive attitude
• You are used to flexible working hours and bring passion for gastronomy
• You have very good German and English skills
