Metrologist

As part of the development of the activities of our client, a recognized player in its field, we are looking for a Metrologist.

You will evolve in a demanding technical environment, characterized by micrometric tolerances and high requirements in terms of precision, repeatability, and reliability of measurements.

Your responsibilities
Define and validate measurement methods and strategies adapted to complex components and parts
Ensure the management and monitoring of the measuring instrument fleet: calibration, periodicity, drifts, and traceability
Program, use, and optimize three-dimensional measuring machines (CMM) as well as 2D measuring means
Use various control methods: optical and non-contact systems, micrometers, comparators, gauge blocks, etc.
Perform and interpret MSA, R&R, and capability studies
Evaluate and control measurement uncertainties
Analyze metrological drifts and participate in the processing of non-conformities
Develop and maintain measurement procedures, control ranges, and calibration files
Provide your technical expertise to the Production, Methods, and R&D teams
Participate in the continuous improvement of measurement performance and the industrialization of new products

Your profile
You hold a higher technical qualification in precision mechanics, microtechnology, mechanical engineering, or metrology (ES level or training deemed equivalent).
You have confirmed experience in a precision mechanics environment and ideally master:
Reading complex drawings and ISO GPS dimensioning
GD&T geometric tolerancing and dimension chains
Surface finishes and their measurement methods
Programming and use of 3D / 2D measuring means
Optical / vision measurement systems, particularly of the Keyence type
Metrological software and statistical tools
Methodologies related to measurement uncertainties
Your qualities
Rigorous and methodical, you have an excellent analytical spirit and a real taste for precision
You are comfortable in environments where tolerances are particularly tight and know how to take a step back when facing complex quality issues.
