The mission of the gynecology service is to ensure the follow-up of women throughout their reproductive life and during menopause. It welcomes women and couples with maximum comfort and security, respecting the privacy and values of each individual. The service consists of several specialized consultations. The medical oncogynecology, surgical oncogynecology, and surgical senology units thus ensure the joint management of gynecological cancers and breast cancers. The reproductive medicine and gynecological endocrinology unit organizes the management of issues related to reproduction, infertility, and menopause. The reproductive medicine and gynecological endocrinology unit of the HUG provides personalized and global management for couples regarding the desire for pregnancy. In addition to the medically assisted procreation techniques performed within the unit itself, an infertility assessment in a half-day called Fertiday, psychological support and, if necessary, sexological management are also offered. The gynecology service simultaneously ensures the teaching of specialist gynecologist-obstetricians, contributes to the training of medical students, and participates in the continuing medical education of practicing physicians. Thanks to the emphasis placed on research, the service offers women the best possible quality of care, in compliance with established procedures at both federal and international levels. Job Description ## In your capacity as Assistant Physician in the reproductive medicine and gynecological endocrinology unit, you will work in an outpatient consultation activity in the following areas: Reproductive medicine and fertility preservation, Gynecological endocrinology and menopause, Gynecological imaging (infertility assessments, specialized ultrasounds, diagnostic hysteroscopies). Your mission is to organize, supervise, and develop the diagnostic activity (ultrasound and hysteroscopy) of the unit, as well as to develop multidisciplinary collaborations (endometriosis center, collaboration with radiologists), teaching, and research in the field. You participate in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching, as well as in the research projects of the unit. You take part in the on-call shifts of the gynecology and obstetrics department and the reproductive medicine on-call duties. Qualifications ## You hold a federal medical diploma or a title deemed equivalent and recognized by MEBEKO. You benefit from an FMH title of advanced training in reproductive medicine and gynecological endocrinology or have a title deemed equivalent and recognized by MEBEKO as well as a medical thesis, or you are soon to obtain the title. You possess the right to practice allowing you to work in the canton of Geneva and you have a minimum French level of C1. You can rely on your autonomy for the management of complex cases in reproductive medicine. You have experience as a clinical chief (chef ou cheffe de clinique) for a minimum of 3 years in a reproductive medicine unit as well as in team management and leadership. You have experience in undergraduate teaching and clinical research. You have certain expertise in gynecological imaging (specialized gynecological ultrasound, 3D/4D, hysterovisonography, hysterocontrastsonography, diagnostic hysteroscopy). Your knowledge and solid experience allow you to autonomously practice the following surgical interventions: operative hysteroscopies (polypectomy, myomectomy, treatment of adhesion and uterine septum), diagnostic laparoscopies with chromoperturbation, simple cystectomies, salpingectomies, cesareans, and instrumental extractions.
