Mandated by one of our clients, we are looking for:
Railway Mechanic - training provided 3x8
Professional experience in an industrial setting, in production, in logistics, or in a demanding work environment
Very good physical condition indispensable for performing sustained activity and working regularly in the field
Accustomed to constraining positions involving wearing PPE, shifted schedules, and difficult environmental conditions
Locomotive driver's license appreciated, but not indispensable: the necessary training will be provided by the company
Rigor, vigilance, good stress management, and ability to communicate clearly with teams
Driving and maneuvering locomotives for the movement, positioning, and sorting of wagons on the internal railway network
Preparation of train sets: coupling and uncoupling, connecting air lines, and checking the correct attachment of wagons
Providing and removing wagons on loading and unloading tracks, as well as weighing or tare weighing according to needs
Performing routine locomotive checks, maintaining the logbook, and reporting any anomaly
Cleaning, refueling, and simple maintenance of the locomotive and railway equipment
Strict application of safety instructions and coordination of movements by radio with the teams present on site
