The Directorate of Technology and Innovation (DTI) is responsible for the technology management of the Insel Gruppe. To ensure the operation of the medical applications and systems in the Medical Informatics team, we are looking for an Application Manager.

What awaits you ##

• Together with your team, you are responsible for the operation of approx. 150 applications, the further development and life-cycle management of your assigned applications, and you ensure seamless documentation as well as the budgeting of financial resources
• You are the interface between clinics, IT and external service providers, as well as a link to medical technology
• You analyze the requirements and transform them into sustainable solutions while complying with the processes and standards of the Insel Gruppe informatics
• You ensure system availability, perform error analyses, and suggest improvements to support clinical processes
• You plan and coordinate updates, releases, and rollouts in close coordination with the clinics
• You are responsible for smaller projects yourself according to the specifications of the Insel Gruppe informatics
• You are willing to take on on-call duty within the team
• You actively participate in the implementation of data protection and data security guidelines - especially in handling sensitive patient data - and take on the management of smaller projects

What you bring with you ##

• Completed higher education as an IT specialist, e.g., business informatics specialist, medical informatics specialist
• Ideally professional experience in healthcare or a hospital environment as well as experience in application management according to ITIL
• Good knowledge in the operation of operating systems, complex IT infrastructures, and database systems
• Analytical, networked thinking as well as conceptual and planning skills
• Independent, structured, proactive way of working and high initiative
• Experience with AI and cloud solutions is a plus, and knowledge in information and data security completes your profile
• Leadership, organizational, and planning skills paired with good expression characterize you additionally
