Senior Cloud Engineer 80 - 100% Your tasks You actively drive the further development of our cloud services with a focus on Microsoft Azure as well as Google Cloud and AWS. You plan, implement and optimize modern cloud solutions for teaching, research, administration and digital services and accompany these from evaluation to successful introduction. You ensure a stable, secure and economical operation of our cloud platforms, further develop monitoring, logging and alerting and analyze disruptions for the continuous improvement of our services. You automate deployment and operation with Infrastructure as Code, scripting and CI/CD and consistently implement security and governance requirements in the areas of Identity, network, hardening, backup and recovery. You work closely with colleagues from architecture, security, application management and operations, advise internal stakeholders and contribute your know-how to cross-departmental projects. You take over 3rd-level support for your services and ensure sustainable operation and knowledge exchange with careful documentation. Your profile You have vocational training or a degree in informatics or bring a comparable qualification with corresponding practical experience. You have sound knowledge of Microsoft Azure and ideally also bring experience with AWS and/or Google Cloud. Certifications such as AZ-104, AZ-305, AZ-500, ACE or SOA-C02 are an advantage. You have experience in the engineering and operation of cloud services and know the requirements for a stable, secure and economical service operation. You have experience with Infrastructure as Code, automation and scripting (Terraform, PowerShell and Bicep) as well as with CI/CD, monitoring and logging. In addition, you bring a good understanding of network, identity, security as well as backup and recovery topics. You communicate confidently in German, have good English skills and are enthusiastic about new technologies and their practical application.
