Managing Director Verein Raumdatenpool (a) # 80% | Place of work in Luzern and from 1 January 2027 in Emmenbrücke | Home office possible ## Der Raumdatenpool Kanton Luzern is the central platform for the coordination, exchange, and provision of geodata in the Canton Luzern. As an association, it connects the Canton, municipalities, utilities, and other partners from business and research with the aim of managing spatial data efficiently and providing modern GIS services for administration, business, and the public. Together, we create the foundation for networked and future-oriented digitalization. Your tasks • Overall responsibility for the operational management of the Raumdatenpool • Implementation of the strategic goals of the association and continuous further development of the office with two other employees • Establishment, introduction, and further development of a Key Account Management as well as acquisition of new customers (including in research, teaching, business) • Support, advice, and networking of members (Canton, municipalities, utilities, GIS service providers, etc.) • Representation of the Raumdatenpool and its GIS offering towards members, customers, partners, authorities, and other stakeholders • Identification of new business fields, market potentials, and cooperation opportunities as well as development of new services and offerings • Initiation, management, and support of strategic projects for the further development of the Raumdatenpool - from conception to successful implementation Your profile • Degree from a university or university of applied sciences in geography, geomatics, environmental and natural sciences, computer science, or comparable training • Several years of professional experience in a responsible function, ideally in the areas of geodata, digitalization, or public administration • Entrepreneurial thinking as well as the ability to recognize and successfully implement new business opportunities • Knowledge in the GIS or geodata environment • Experience in the management or support of strategic projects • Very good communication, presentation, and negotiation skills as well as a confident and winning manner • High level of initiative, independence, as well as a structured and solution-oriented way of working • Experience in the environment of public administration is an advantage Mike Hächler Geschäftsführer RDP a.
