The Suchthilfe Region Basel is one of the largest private providers in the Basel area. Our services include prevention, counseling, addiction treatment, and harm reduction in addiction help. At the ESTA - Clinic for Addiction Treatment in Reinach, people from the age of 16 with substance addiction are treated in a withdrawal and therapy setting. As part of our realignment, we will focus our treatment setting on adolescents and young adults in the coming months and adjust it accordingly. To complement our team, we are looking for a Coach (m/w/d) 80-100% immediately or by agreement. Main area of responsibility • Accompaniment of patients in the 24/7 setting in 3-shift operation • Motivation and activation of patients in the daily routine and during activities • Implementation of the activity weekly plan, assistance with planning • Ensuring accompaniment of patients based on openness, willingness, honesty, and respect • Support in ensuring a safe, motivating, and appreciative treatment atmosphere We expect • Completion as a specialist in care, specialist in movement and health, social pedagogue, socio-cultural animator, or similar at EFZ, HF, or FH level • Professional experience in a psychiatric environment and/or work with adolescents and young adults is an advantage • Active and athletic personality, knowledge in group accompaniment • Good powers of observation, motivating communication • Possibly personal experience with mental illnesses and/or addiction, at least 2 years abstinent or stable mental condition, as well as active in a self-help group • High social competence, open and communicative personality, and ability to support colleagues and patients in a motivating way • Willingness to work early, late, night, and weekend shifts • Good IT user skills We offer • A varied and challenging activity in a collegial and interdisciplinary work climate • The opportunity to further develop the activities area together with the team management • To actively participate in the implementation of an innovative treatment concept for adolescents and young adults • Openness to people with personal experience and appreciation of this expert knowledge • At least 5 weeks of vacation An additional allowance for maintenance in case of entitlement to child allowances
