The Schweizerisches Kompetenzzentrum für den Justizvollzug (SKJV) is the platform in the field of correctional services in Switzerland. Based in Marly (FR), we form the link between German-speaking Switzerland and Latin Switzerland. As an integral part of the SKJV, the Fachstelle Bildung im Strafvollzug BiSt ensures the implementation of basic education for adult incarcerated persons in the facilities of penal and custodial measures in Switzerland. We are looking for the prisons Horgen (ZH) and Limmattal (ZH), from 1.11.2026 or by arrangement, a Teacher Education in Correctional Services 60% (40% Gefängnis Horgen, 20% Gefängnis Limmattal) Your tasks Promoting competencies in the following areas: general education topics (ABU), German and German as a Second Language (DaZ), literacy, basics of mathematics, ICT basics; Accompanying incarcerated persons from different cultural backgrounds on their individual educational path; Adhering to quality standards; Further developing the educational offer, also in the digital area; Collaborating with the various stakeholders as well as participating in intercantonal meetings with other teachers in correctional services. Your profile Master Secondary Level 1 or equivalent training; At least 2–4 years of teaching experience, ideally in adult education, with corresponding methodical competencies; Affinity for digital teaching methods; Strong communication skills; Strong social competence and the ability to awaken the joy of learning; Good linguistic skills.
