Expert: International Mobility The University of Zurich (UZH) is the largest university in Switzerland with over 28,000 students and around 10,000 employees. The Personnel Department offers - in cooperation with the decentralized personnel managers - all service and advisory services, processes, and systems of an integrated Human Resources (HR) management for all university units, employees, and managers. Our International Mobility team is being established, and you can actively help shape it from the beginning. We are combining the expertise of internal specialists into a new, future-oriented unit. In a lively, international environment, you will accompany employees from all over the world with us and ensure that work and residence permits, as well as other mobility issues, are handled professionally and efficiently. To strengthen our team, we are looking for a committed personality, starting immediately or by arrangement, who loves challenges, enjoys taking on responsibility, and enjoys helping to shape processes in a developing environment. Expert: International Mobility Tasks Responsibility for the efficient and legally compliant processing of work and residence permits, registration certificates, applications for extensions, changes of function, and secondary employment Assessment/clarification of social security law affiliations Control and processing of decrees for foreign employees for compliance with legal as well as internal university specifications Advising decentralized personnel managers of the institutes and departments, clarifications with the Migration Office as well as the Office for Economy Operational support in day-to-day business as well as in ongoing HR and administration projects Responsibility and implementation of data quality controls, reporting, and processes regarding the work and residence permit system Assistance with the induction and training of new employees Ensuring knowledge transfer to specialists in the HR community, conducting various training formats Active participation in strategic HR projects, currently the introduction of SAP Success Factors Profile You roll up your sleeves, clarify things, and drive tasks forward independently. Commercial training with mandatory several years of sound experience (min. 5 years) in the personnel department of a large company Several years of sound experience in the field of Global Mobility, preferably in an international environment, SAP-HCM recording knowledge and experience with SAP Success Factors Federal Diploma of Higher Education in Social Insurance Application-oriented knowledge in the field of wages, social insurance, and pension funds Enthusiasm for personnel law, wage, and social insurance issues Very good knowledge of using Microsoft Office applications Confident German and business-fluent English skills Teamwork skills, positive and motivated basic attitude, as well as perseverance even with repetitive tasks Friendly and confident appearance, customer orientation, negotiation skills, assertiveness, as well as quick comprehension We offer Our employees benefit from diverse and attractive offers.
