Operator (shift operation)
As an operator, you will work in a 3-shift rhythm including weekends and public holidays at our location in Basel. A dedicated team and a versatile as well as challenging field of activity await you.
Tasks
Operation and control of the plants via process computer and on-site
(Wastewater treatment and sludge incineration)
Monitoring of all mechanical and electrical facilities
Independent execution of specialist work
Identify preventive maintenance and necessary repairs
Independent interpretation of alarm messages as well as initiation of corresponding measures
Rectification and written reporting of safety-violating conditions
Collaboration on optimization tasks
Careful handover of the workplace during shift change
For this position we expect:
Your profile
Completed vocational training in a technical profession, in a chemical plant or in a sewage treatment plant
User knowledge in electronics, automation and mechanics
Very good German skills in speaking and writing
Strong sense of responsibility and high level of commitment
Willingness to work in a continuous 3-shift model
Willingness to complete the training for sewage treatment plant specialists (VSA: Verband Abwasser- und Gewässerschutzfachleute)
