Everything here revolves around the exciting world of the unique, mobile bridge: From assembly, driving operations, and maintenance to disassembly – we are the professionals who ensure that everything runs smoothly. From spring to autumn, you will be on the road for nighttime operations to move the bridge to its new location on the Swiss national highway network. Where it goes? That remains exciting! In the winter months, we dedicate ourselves to the overhaul of the bridge, which takes place at the Werkhof Oensingen as well as at our storage site in Oftringen. What you will rock Your core business consists of repairs, overhauls, and maintenance work on the ASTRA Bridge. You operate the ASTRA Bridge safely and reliably – at night and during operations outside of usual working hours. As a technical expert, you train and support the assembly and disassembly teams and ensure a smooth process. With your know-how, you contribute to the operational readiness, safety, and further development of the ASTRA Bridge. What you can do and who you are As a trained mechanic/mechatronics technician, you have sound specialist knowledge as well as practical experience in handling heavy machinery. You combine mechanical and electronic know-how and bring comprehensive knowledge in vehicle and automobile electrics. In addition, you have a deep understanding of the complex systems of modern vehicles and their control technology. You are reliable: You enjoy working in a team, take the opinions of others into account, and are at the same time confident and able to assert yourself. Even in hectic situations, you keep a cool head. Challenges motivate you, and you approach tasks analytically, independently, and with the necessary tenacity.
