Your tasks • You are responsible for consulting, accompanying and providing financial support to individuals and families within the framework of statutory social assistance. • You accompany people in different life situations on their way to social and professional integration. • You work with internal and external specialist agencies, social insurance companies and authorities. • You will be administratively supported by clerks, can draw on the knowledge of internal specialist agencies (Legal Service, Specialist Agency Work and Education, Specialist Agency Integration and Housing) and work with your colleagues in the team. Your profile • You have a university of applied sciences degree in Social Work or equivalent training, ideally supplemented with subject-specific further education. • You have already gained initial professional experience in economic social assistance. • You approach all people in a appreciative manner and can handle different expectations. • You are skilled in administrative tasks and in dealing with numbers. • You are used to working independently, are an organizational talent and are decision-friendly. In the Social Services, around 150 employees work for residents in need. We advise and support them in the areas of existence security, adult protection, accompaniment and support as well as work integration. The position is assigned to the reference function «Social Pedagogue, Social Worker, Socio-Cultural Animator 2, salary classes 12-14».
