It ensures official and technical survey services, the surveying of underground networks, the preparation of specialized plans, as well as the management of land and geographic data. It also provides a cartographic counter, a reference tool used by both administration services and the public. In the context of the current holder's retirement and in order to strengthen the unit in charge of geospatial developments, the process management and territorial information application, as well as the cartographic counter, we are looking for our future Head of Geospatial Information Solutions. Main mission(s) ### Ensure the continuous functioning of the territorial information software solutions infrastructure Be responsible for the lifecycle of the territorial information software solutions without service interruption Drive the evolution and guarantee the performance of GIS and process management solutions, from needs analysis to development, production deployment, and maintenance in operational conditions, while ensuring their quality, availability, and evolution Lead projects related to the solutions under your responsibility and support their deployment, by coordinating stakeholders, providing level 3 support, user training, technological monitoring, as well as the monitoring of resources and financial aspects Administer the databases of the territorial information software solutions Manage the consistency of municipal reference geospatial data (EGID, buildings, parcels, addresses, etc.) and intervene with the relevant services when necessary Profile ### Master's degree in the field of geographic information systems (GIS) with an IT orientation or training deemed equivalent Additional training in IT development applied to geographic information systems, geoinformatics, or geodata management solutions Minimum 8 years of experience in the development of IT solutions, ideally in the field of GIS, geoinformatics, or territorial information systems, with solid experience in the design, evolution, and maintenance of applications Excellent skills in backend and web development (Go, PHP, Python, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML/CSS), API design, and data exchange Very good mastery of GNU/Linux environments, relational and spatial databases (PostgreSQL/PostGIS), as well as development, testing, deployment, and source code management tools (Git or equivalent) Good knowledge of best practices in application security, software quality, and technical documentation Experience gained within a public administration or in a business process management environment is a plus Knowledge of cloud-native architectures, microservices, APIs, containerization, and deployment automation (Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD) as well as monitoring and observability tools is a plus Mastery of map distribution technologies (MapServer, OpenLayers or equivalents), geospatial standards, and tools would be highly appreciated Experience with ETL tools, data integration, and legacy technologies (XML/XSLT/SVG, Bash, jQuery, Subversion or equivalents) would constitute an undeniable asset Excellent analysis, synthesis, and organizational skills, with an ability to manage priorities and propose adapted solutions in a complex environment Strong ability to collaborate with various stakeholders, to coordinate cross-functional projects, and to create a climate of trust promoting knowledge sharing Special conditions ### Clean criminal record Ability to intervene occasionally outside of usual hours in case of production deployment, incident, or planned technical operation, according to the needs of the service Place of work ### Rue du Port-Franc 18, 1002 Lausanne Salary class ### 12 Start date ### Immediately or to be agreed Information ### M.
