The Commune de Delley-Portalban is recruiting for the position of Head of Road Maintenance Service at 80-100% - Multi-skilled employee

Activities and missions of the position:

• Manage a team
• Organize tasks in the various sectors related to town maintenance, the waste disposal site and the tourist zone
• Direct work on the ground and be involved in it
• Manage the fleet of vehicles and machines as well as the road maintenance building
• Ensure on-call service (snow removal and waste disposal service)
• Collaborate with the various communal services

Your profile:

• Federal Diploma or CFC in the field of mechanics, landscaper or a title deemed equivalent
• Knowledge in the field of green space maintenance
• Knowledge of IT tools
• Knowledge of German is an asset
• Holder of a B driving license
• Holder of an F/G driving license is an asset
• Sense of organization, communication, spirit of initiative and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Willingness to work outside of usual hours, also on weekends
