School Management for the Schule Kappeli Primar, 60 %

At the beginning of 2026, the school switched to a management model of three school leaders and has reorganized itself by level. Due to the resignation of the school management for the kindergarten level, we are looking for a successor who would like to take over the school management with a focus on "Kindergarten Pedagogy". You are essentially responsible for the leadership of the classroom and subject teachers of regular instruction. In cooperation with the co-school management, you are responsible for curriculum development, its implementation, and the processes. The position is currently endowed with 40% and will increase to 60% from 01.08.2026. The workload includes a buffer intended to meet the initial effort required during induction. After the induction phase, the Co-SL Kindergarten will take on further functions. Due to projected growth, the position will increase to 80% from approximately 01.08.2027. Tasks ## • Operative pedagogical co-management of the school - focus on Kindergarten level pedagogy • Representation of the school internally as well as towards parents, authorities, and administration • Quality and team development • Co-management of the school conference • Accompanying/leading work and project groups with co-management Profile ## • Experience as a teacher in Cycle 1 or 2 and a recognized qualification as a school leader (or the willingness to complete this promptly) • Leadership experience, good assertiveness, and high stress resilience, as well as the ambition to lead a team • High social competence, pragmatism, and enjoyment of working in a co-management team in a culturally diverse environment • Advanced IT user skills, quick comprehension, a structured and cleanly planned way of working • Very good German skills, high communication skills, and a desire for the flexibility of everyday school life and what it entails We offer ## • A responsible and versatile leadership task • Competent support from school administration and authorities • A mixed and experienced team of 150 employees • A committed and cooperative team of 70 teachers • An established meeting day (Tuesday) on which all planned meeting formats take place • Various team events to network within the large team • A very attractive workplace in terms of transport • Employment conditions according to cantonal guidelines • A listed school facility with a school garden that invites you to linger Apply Apply About us ## In the 26/27 school year, 640 children from 11 kindergartens and 22 primary classes will attend our Primarschule Kappeli. Since 2020, the school has been in a growth phase and is expected to open new class cohorts annually until 2029. The restoration of the building, as well as the transition to the all-day school, is planned for the period 2030-35. The Primarschule Kappeli has a great team, which exhibits a high degree of flexibility and cooperation, as well as low turnover. Cooperation and the sense of community are of high importance.
