Sea Freight Clerk (m/f)

For our dedicated team in the Basel area, we are looking for a reliable and communicative personality who supports our sea freight processing with competence and passion. If you enjoy international transports and like to keep an overview – a warm welcome on board!

Your tasks:

• Independent organization and processing of worldwide sea freight shipments (FCL & LCL)
• Creation of shipping, customs, and accompanying documents
• Communication with shipping companies, forwarders, and customers at home and abroad
• Shipment tracking as well as proactive information to customers in case of deviations
• Compliance with all legal and customer-specific requirements
• Data maintenance and billing in the forwarding system
• Close cooperation with internal departments (e.g., sales, warehouse, customs)

What you bring with you:

• Completed training as a freight forwarding agent or comparable qualification
• Initial professional experience in sea freight (import/export) is an advantage
• Good knowledge of German and English – both written and spoken
• Structured, customer-oriented way of working
• Team player mentality and flexibility
