Caregiver (Social or Childhood Education / EFZ Childcare Specialist)

The Oberlimatte is an institution active in childcare at several locations in the Oberaargau. The Oberlimatte operates three daycare centers, three stationary living groups for children and young people, a socio-pedagogical day structure in Langenthal, and offers outpatient services in the context of children and young people. The well-being of the children is in the foreground. To complement our team in the sibling care living group (girls and boys from school age) we are looking for as of August 1, 2026, or by agreement a caregiver 80-100% (Social or Childhood Education, EFZ Childcare Specialist) An interesting and varied work environment awaits you. The care is very individual, supportive, and promoting. Requirements: • Completed training in childcare or pedagogy (professional experience an advantage) • A big heart for children and young people • Sense of responsibility and reliability • Stress tolerance and flexibility • Good team skills • Proficient in German, both written and spoken. Area of responsibility: • Accompaniment, care, and promotion of children and young women • Assistance with leisure activities • Reference person work • Evening and night shifts • Weekend shifts by agreement.
