This department provides care to patients of all ages, children and adults, suffering from neurosurgical, neurological, ophthalmological and oto-rhino-laryngological pathologies. Care is adapted to the needs and difficulties of the patient, from the most acute sectors (intermediate care units) to the rehabilitation sectors (neurorehabilitation). The objective of the department is to lead patients towards a recovery of their autonomy through teaching, support and outpatient follow-up. It ensures the operation of patients as well as their support, in order to favor an early return home. In the same vein, outpatient care is also prioritized and surgical activity optimized, to facilitate accessibility to care within a reasonable timeframe. The Service d'Oto-rhino-laryngologie et de Chirurgie cervico-faciale ensures the global, diagnostic, therapeutic and psychological care of patients, newborns, children, adults and elderly people, suffering from affections of the ENT sphere, ranging from sensory functional disorders (hearing, balance, olfaction, gustation), or motor disorders (facial paralysis, laryngeal paralysis, swallowing disorders) to organic lesions (infectious, malformative, benign and malignant tumors). The service has an 18-bed hospitalization unit, a 5-room operating block, an outpatient care unit, a polyclinic, a new audiology and vestibulometry platform and a daytime emergency reception service, 5 days out of 7. Audiology Technical Assistant – 80% to 100% You perform audiology and vestibulometry examinations in order to determine the functional state of the organs, the nerve centers of hearing as well as the vestibular system using adequate devices. You carry out the secretarial work arising from this function. You collaborate in the organization of the functioning of the audiology and vestibulometry laboratory (schedules, presence, distribution of tasks). You participate in teaching tasks for assistant doctors, clinical chiefs, speech therapists, colleagues and new employees. You proceed with the quality control of the examinations performed. Qualifications You hold a federal diploma in the field of audiology, or any training deemed equivalent. You benefit from two years of experience in the field of audiology (considerable asset). You possess easy knowledge of the field of deafness, the functioning of measuring devices, hearing aids and IT. You ensure the performance of acoustic equipment expertise, by keeping yourself informed of changes and adaptations in the FSO rules relating to auxiliary means. You are the close contact between the patient, the hearing aid specialists and the expert doctors of the AI, SUVA and AM organizations. You have a strong aptitude for teamwork, are a service/quality oriented person and have strong interpersonal skills. You have a minimum level C1 in French (written and spoken), good knowledge of English minimum B2 (spoken and written), knowledge of other languages is a considerable asset. Knowledge in the adjustment of hearing aids constitutes an asset.
