Operations Engineer as Safety Officer (100 %)

In this versatile role, you combine your passion for occupational safety and health protection with your technical understanding.

Your focus: Occupational safety & health protection (approx. 70 %)

• Responsible for occupational safety and health protection on behalf of the Operations Manager
• Advising the management, executives, and employees on all safety-related issues
• Identifying hazards as well as initiating and accompanying prevention and improvement measures
• Conducting safety rounds and accident analyses including documentation
• Planning and implementing training, instructions, and awareness measures to promote the safety culture

Your technical area of responsibility: Operations engineering (approx. 30 %)

• Technical responsibility for the energy supply and the operational infrastructure
• Planning and managing technical projects, plant expansions, and modernizations
• Developing technical decision bases, specifications, and investment requests
• Maintenance and servicing of the energy supply

Your profile

• Technical training with further training in the field of occupational safety and health protection
• Several years of professional experience in an industrial production environment
• Very good technical understanding and experience in technical projects
• High social and communication competence as well as the necessary tact to involve different stakeholders and win them over for common solutions
• Ability to convey complex specialist topics in a practical, understandable, and convincing manner
• Confident and professional appearance – even in demanding situations
• Level-headed, solution-oriented personality who maintains an overview even in crisis situations
