Engineering Manager Gas-Insulated Switchgear

You will lead and develop an engineering team in the manufacturing of gas-insulated switchgear and be responsible for competence building, resource planning, and engineering processes.

Tasks

• Develop and implement strategies for the competence and resource development of the engineering team
• Identify skill gaps and develop training programs
• Plan and allocate resources for engineering tasks and project requirements
• Monitor the use of engineering tools such as CAD and configuration management systems
• Align engineering processes to be efficient, standardized, and according to best practices
• Manage interfaces between engineering and other departments
• Promote continuous improvement and cross-departmental collaboration

Profile

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field, Master's degree an advantage
• Experience in engineering management roles
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP), PLM systems (Windchill), and CAD tools (Creo)
• Experience in the management and leadership of engineering projects
• Sound knowledge of engineering processes and best practices
• Fluent German and English
