As a Business Analyst, you are the interface between business and IT and bring your expertise in Mastercard Rules & Standards. In-depth knowledge and practical experience in the area of Payment Authentication, in particular EMV 3-D Secure (3DS) and Strong Customer Authentication (SCA), are a great plus. What you can achieve • You analyze and specify technical requirements for card and transaction processes (Issuing) • You take over the analysis and interpretation of Mastercard Rules & Standards and evaluate their impact on our systems and processes • You model processes and support the definition of interfaces and data flows • You work closely with internal stakeholders, external partners, developers, and testers, and take responsibility for the quality of the delivered solutions What you bring • Completed studies in economics, finance, computer science, or equivalent education, as well as experience as a Business Analyst or Requirements Engineer • Experience in the payment traffic or card environment, including card processing (Visa, Mastercard) and/or payment authentication with a focus on EMV 3-D Secure (3DS) and Strong Customer Authentication (SCA) • In-depth knowledge of relevant payment standards and Card Scheme requirements (e.g., ISO 8583, EMV, PSD2/SCA, and EMV 3-D Secure) • Analytical skills and experience with business analysis methods (BPMN, UML) as well as database queries (SQL) • Technical understanding of interfaces (REST API) and tools like Jira/Confluence • Distinct communication and team skills, as well as negotiation-secure German language skills and very good English language skills
