Exciting tasks await: • Teaching in small groups (approx. 3 young people each), particularly in the subjects of German and mathematics as well as general education topics • Conducting learning assessments and developing individual support plans as well as writing progress and performance reports • Accompanying young people during sports activities • Supporting the residential group during school-free phases (breakfast or lunch) • Interdisciplinary collaboration with the residential group, training companies, and therapy What you bring: • Teaching qualification at primary or secondary level, possibly with a degree in special needs education and/or social pedagogy • Experience in individualized teaching in heterogeneous small classes • Interest in working with male young people with behavioral difficulties • Strong willingness to collaborate interdisciplinary • Empathetic, secure, and flexible personality as well as high resilience and team skills • Impeccable reputation (extracts from the criminal and debt enforcement records without entries) Your work environment: The Jugendheim Aarburg (https://www.ag.ch/de/verwaltung/dvi/strafverfolgung-strafvollzug/jugendheim-aarburg) is an institution for the execution of civil and juvenile law measures. Male young people and young adults who are at risk in their development are admitted. With pedagogical and therapeutic measures, the employees support the clients in integrating into the social order. In addition, specific school and vocational offers provide a basis for the young people and young adults to prepare for a self-responsible, offense-free life. For the closed residential group, we are looking for a specialist who ensures the special education of up to 8 young people. The workload of 90 - 100% can be performed in four days (Monday to Thursday) if desired.
