Nursing Specialist Endoscopy Center / Recovery Room 40-60%

For our Endoscopy Center, we are looking for a dedicated nursing specialist who will actively support our team, particularly in the recovery room and in monitoring care. A versatile and varied field of activity awaits you, in which you will competently and empathetically care for our patients before, during, and after endoscopic procedures. In doing so, you will benefit from regular working hours from Monday to Friday between 10:00 and 18:00. The Universitätsspital Zürich is one of the largest hospitals in Switzerland. Your main tasks

• You care for and accompany patients during the entire endoscopic process - from preparation through to the examination, monitoring, and aftercare in the recovery room
• You assist with diagnostic procedures in a university environment
• You ensure a high quality of care and contribute to a smooth process in the Endoscopy Center
• You work interdisciplinary and maintain close cooperation with various specialist departments with a clear focus on the care of our patients
• You take on administrative tasks and contribute to an efficient organization of everyday work

Your profile

• You have completed training as a registered nursing specialist HF/FH or an equivalent, recognized qualification in Switzerland
• Ideally, you bring experience in endoscopy assistance or monitoring care. Motivated career starters are also very welcome
• You encounter patients empathetically, attentively, and sensitively even during and after sedation
• You work independently, responsibly, and in a structured manner
• You are a team player and appreciate cooperation in a dynamic, university environment
• You are open to new things, show initiative, and want to actively help shape the further development of our Endoscopy Center
