We work with all stakeholders along the entire value chain, from early research to patient care.Purpose of the role: In the -Operate Digital Infrastructure- team, you ensure that our networked sensors at the Basel and Kaiseraugst sites function reliably and are expanded according to demand. You are the central hub between internal customers, cutting-edge IoT technology, and external service providers. In doing so, you take responsibility for ongoing operations, manage external partners, and independently handle expansion projects from inquiry to acceptance.The Opportunity:Holistic Lifecycle Management: You are responsible for the installed sensors throughout their entire lifecycle, from installation, commissioning, and handover to operation, through to documentation and troubleshooting, up to maintenance and decommissioning.Strategy & Operational Optimization: You develop sustainable maintenance strategies, keep operating costs in focus, and actively drive the standardization of processes as well as the continuous improvement process (CIP).Solution Development & Consulting: You receive specific customer inquiries, evaluate the technical requirements, and develop tailor-made IoT solutions for implementation at our sites.Data Support: You actively support and advise internal customers regarding the provision, access, and evaluation of their captured IoT data.Project & Partner Management: You plan and realize conversion and expansion projects independently, manage external specialist companies including quality control, and handle the associated ordering process.System & Data Quality: You consistently ensure the quality, completeness, and seamless traceability of all data and documents in our systems.Collaboration & Know-how Building: You maintain close exchange with partners and interfaces and ensure continuous knowledge transfer and know-how building in our Circle.Who are you?Education: Completed technical vocational training (EFZ), e.g., in the areas of building informatics, automation, electrical installation, informatics (systems engineering), electronics, or a comparable qualification; further training at a Higher Technical College (e.g., Dipl. Techniker/in HF) is a plus.Practical Experience: Sound practical experience in the operational operation of technical hardware; knowledge in the area of IoT sensor technology, BLE, or LoRaWAN is an advantage.System & IT Competence: Ideally, you bring high IT affinity and routine handling of PC and standard office applications; practical experience with systems such as SAP or digital documentation tools is included.Organization & Partner Management: Strong cost and quality awareness as well as practical experience in the coordination and management of external service providers and specialist companies.Way of Working & Personal Responsibility: High personal responsibility and enjoyment in making independent decisions in your own specialist area; you appreciate structured collaboration in an agile environment.Communication & Service Orientation: Strong service orientation and enjoyment in exchanging with internal customers as well as external partners.Language Skills: Fluent German skills as well as very good English skills in speaking and writing.
