Time for the next career step? Switch from freight forwarding to industry! Our client is a globally active, successful and specialized supplier and niche player in the industrial sector. The SME with around 50 employees is part of an international corporate group and has its registered office in the Basel agglomeration, where the high-quality products are developed and produced. We are looking for a technically proficient, sales-strong and customer-oriented personality to strengthen the existing sales team, starting immediately or by arrangement. Your area of responsibility: • Receipt and recording of orders as well as their complete processing until delivery, including the creation of all necessary documents • Independent execution of customs clearance in the export and import area (EU customs clearance) as well as maintaining good contacts with logistics companies and authorities • Comprehensive support of sales, in particular monitoring of order entry, processing of returns and maintenance of the accounts receivable master data (experience with ERP Microsoft Dynamics is an advantage) • Processing of complaints, returns and warranty cases • Responsibility for the telephone switchboard as well as the processing of incoming and outgoing mail • General sales support, including travel organization, participation in trade fairs and support with marketing measures • Readiness to increase the workload to 80% after one year, as well as during holiday substitutions from the beginning, if necessary Your profile: • Completed training as a foreign trade specialist, freight forwarding agent or commercial vocational training with corresponding experience • Sound knowledge of export and import business, in particular in EU customs clearance as well as the creation of e-dec export documents taking into account customs and tax law requirements • Experience in a comparable position in logistics and in sales back office. • Very good German and English skills in spoken and written form, other language skills are an advantage • Teamwork skills, negotiation skills, initiative, flexibility, resilience and experience in an SME environment What is offered to you: • A detailed and comprehensive induction into the new area of responsibility • A varied and interesting area of responsibility • A family-oriented corporate environment • Progressive employment conditions • 5 weeks vacation, from the age of 50 6 weeks • 40-hour week, of which 1 day of Home Office per week is possible • Free parking and good public transport connections Interested?
