The Business Unit Operations produces parts for all Hamilton companies, from injection-molded parts and pipette tips for liquid handling to metal and plastic parts. Our goal is to produce as many parts as possible in-house. This allows us to remain agile, independent, and efficient.

What you can achieve:

• Secure supply and cost-optimized warehouse disposition of the Electronics product group
• Order processing with the ERP system for new and existing items
• Checking order confirmations
• Securing delivery dates / delivery date reminders
• Processing error messages
• Processing and implementing eForms (change notifications, item integrations)
• Recording and monitoring quantity contracts
• Maintenance of item master data in the ERP
• Obtaining and evaluating offers in consultation with strategic purchasing
• Collaboration in optimization projects in procurement
• Collaboration in supplier evaluation
• Checking and approving supplier invoices
• Compliance with processes, governance, and compliance

What you bring with you:

• Completed basic training in the field of electronics or electrical engineering
• Further training as a purchasing specialist or in Supply Chain Management
• Experience as an operational buyer in an industrial environment
• Reliable personality with entrepreneurial thinking
• Independent, structured, and conscientious way of working
• Initiative, negotiation skills, and assertiveness
• Open, communicative, and integral person
• Team player
• Very good ERP and Office skills
• Business fluent in German and English, spoken and written at least level B2
