The Institut für Physiotherapie in the Insel Gruppe is organized with three specialist focal points. We offer specialized medical-therapeutic services with pronounced interdisciplinarity and guarantee comprehensive care with high quality of supervision.

At the Belp location, the Institut für Physiotherapie manages geriatric rehabilitation with currently around 65 beds. People aged 70 and over are treated following severe illnesses, surgeries, or accidents. The goal is the best possible recovery of independence and a safe return to the accustomed environment.

What to expect

• You perform physiotherapeutic assessments, plan the therapy, and primarily treat inpatient patients with a focus on geriatric rehabilitation
• You conduct individual and group therapies and specifically support patients in regaining mobility, independence, and safety in everyday life
• You actively contribute your specialist knowledge in interdisciplinary consultations, reports, and site meetings and contribute to the continuous further development of treatment quality
• You work in a large interprofessional therapy team consisting of physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and a speech therapist, which possesses a lot of experience and specialist knowledge

What you bring with you

• You have completed training as a dipl. Physiotherapeut:in, ideally with SRK recognition
• You bring interest in working with people in geriatric rehabilitation; professional experience in this area is an advantage
• You are characterized by a high sense of responsibility and like to contribute actively to the further development of work processes
• Your way of working is characterized by teamwork, independence, and flexibility
• Experience in supervising BSc physiotherapy students is an advantage
