With its approximately 4000 employees, the Kantonspolizei Zürich takes responsibility for security in the canton. To strengthen our Facility Management, we are looking for an engaged personality for the Verkehrsstützpunkt Urdorf starting February 2027 as:

Facility Management Specialist / Building Management 100%

Tasks

• Planning and independent execution of maintenance and repair work on building technology systems (HVAC, controls and building technology systems) incl. inspection, testing and repair
• Professional operation and monitoring of technical systems as well as application of building maintenance and logistics software (CAFM)
• Analysis and rectification of malfunctions and operational issues, identifying causes, prioritization as well as initiation of sustainable measures
• Summoning, accompanying and monitoring specialist and service personnel as well as coordination of service assignments and support with integral system tests
• Care and management of buildings, parts of buildings and outdoor facilities incl. grounds maintenance, winter service and operation of the necessary machines and devices
• Organization and management of workshop, material warehouse and workplaces incl. material orders as well as implementation of secondary waste disposal
• Collaboration in the creation and optimization of maintenance plans, work processes and material concepts as well as updating technical maintenance documentation
• Participation in projects in the areas of energy optimization, renovation, technical upgrading and conversions as well as ensuring energy efficiency, environmental and safety requirements
• Professional support of the Hauswarte EBA and EFZ with demanding technical tasks as well as taking over on-call and winter services and holiday replacements within the Kanton Zürich

Profile

• Completed technical or manual training (EFZ) as well as federal professional certificate (eidgenössischer Fachausweis) in the field of Facility Management, building maintenance, maintenance or a comparable qualification
• At least five years of professional experience in the specialist field, ideally in technical building maintenance
• Sound knowledge in the operation and maintenance of building technology systems (HVAC) as well as in handling controls and building technology systems
• Experience with CAFM systems or willingness to work deeply into the corresponding applications
• Pronounced manual dexterity, technical understanding, physical resilience and joy in practical work
• Ability to independently analyze technical malfunctions and operational issues, prioritize and implement sustainable solutions
• Independent, reliable and dedicated personality with high willingness to learn, teamwork skills and pronounced service orientation (You are independently responsible for the FM at the Verkehrsstützpunkt Urdorf)
• Good communication skills as well as willingness for on-call and winter service and holiday replacements within the Kanton Zürich
• Driver's license Cat. B and impeccable reputation
